Testmates terms of use

The service

Testmates provides account access to saved electrical inspection records. Its current personal ChatGPT connection can find reports and read selected sections. It cannot edit records, upload evidence, sign, authorise or issue certificates. Public plugin installation is subject to OpenAI’s approval and availability.

Your responsibilities

Use your own account and only access information you are authorised to use. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not bypass organisation permissions, interfere with the service or submit unlawful material. You retain rights in your report content and allow us to process it to provide the features you request.

Electrical work and AI

Recorded information and AI explanations are not a compliance decision. A competent professional must verify readings, inspection results, observations and any electrical conclusions. Testmates and ChatGPT do not replace on-site inspection, testing, professional judgment or your applicable duties. Keep an independent copy of records you need.

Availability and changes

The service is currently a beta and may change or be interrupted. We may restrict access where needed to protect accounts, investigate misuse or comply with law. We will not represent a draft or unreviewed record as an issued certificate. Any future paid service will be presented separately before you agree to a charge.

Privacy and other services

Our privacy notice explains information handling. ChatGPT and other third-party services have their own terms and account requirements. Disconnecting an integration does not automatically delete records or conversations held by those services.
